The BL600 App contains some of the applications that can be made for Bluetooth Smart devices built around Laird Technologies’ class-leading BL600 module series, designed to ease development and significantly reduce time to market.
The BL600 series utilises Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF51822 system on chip and provides for extremely low power operation, whilst supporting a -91dB link budget for maximum operating range. Developers are able to use the innovative smartBASIC language to programme the module for a wide variety of sensor applications in less than a day, significantly reducing overall time to market.
This app includes a heart rate monitor, proximity sensor and a temperature sensor. The BL600 provides for a wide array of potential applications beyond just these three applications. This app is fully compatible with other Bluetooth Smart Ready devices which utilise these profiles.
